Bread Pudding

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease baking dish with LOTS of Butter or Margarine. Cube 4 slices of White Bread and put in baking dish. In a bowl, mix 3 Eggs, 1/2 C Sugar, 1/2 tsp Salt and 1/2 tsp Vanilla. Add 2 C Scalded Milk and beat with wire wisk. Pour mixture into baking dish on top of cubed bread. Place baking dish in pan of water and bake (uncovered) for about 1 hour. Feed dog 1/2 a "pudding" at each meal. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. You'll need 3 C Whole Wheat Flour, 2 C Bulgur or Cracked Wheat, 1/2 C instant non-fat Milk Powder, 2-3 C Chicken Broth or Water, 3 C all purpose Flour, 1 C Corn Meal, 4 tsp Salt, Milk. In a large bowl mix flours, bulgur, cornmeal, dry powdered milk and salt. Add 2 C broth; mix well with hands. Continue adding broth if necessary until the mixture is consistency of bread dough. Roll to 1/4 inch thickness on lighly floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush each biscuit lightly with milk. Bake 45 minutes then turn oven off and leave biscuits there overnight. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen biscuits.
Peanut Butter Treats

Peanut Butter Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 1 1/2 C Flour, 1/2 C Water, 3/4 C Uncooked Oatmeal, 1/4 C Honey Crunch Wheat Germ, 1/4 C Peanut Butter, 1/4 C Salad Oil, 1/4 C Honey, 1 tsp Baking Powder. Mix 1 C flour and 1/2 C water with remaining ingredients until well blended. Stir in remaining 1/2 C flour. Knead on well-floured surface until dough holds together. Roll out to 1/4" thick. Cut. Bake on large ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes. Turn off oven but leave cookie sheet in for 1 hour. Remove cookies. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2 C Whole Wheat Flour, 1 C Wheatgerm, 1 C Peanut Butter, 1 Egg, 1/4 C Vetetable Oil, 1/2 C Water, 1/2 tsp Salt. Combine flour, wheat germ and salt in large bowl. Mix in peanut butter, egg, oil and water. Roll dough out onto lightly floured surface until 1/2 inch thick. Cut biscuits with cookie cutter. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 15 minutes for smaller sized cookies and up to 35 minutes for larger ones. Store in fridge.
Beef BiscuitsDoggie Delights
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2 1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour, 6 Tbsp Margarine or Bacon Fat, 1/2 C Powdered Milk, 1 small jar Strained Beef or Lamb Broth (baby food), 1 tsp Sugar, 2 Tbsp Water, 1 Egg. Mix ingredients. Knead 3 minutes. Dough should form a ball. Roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cut into cookies. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2 C Whole Wheat Flour, 6 Tbsp Margarine or Bacon Fat, 1/4 C Wheat Germ, 1 Egg (beaten), 1/2 C Powdered Milk, 1 Tbsp Molasses, 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder, 1/2 C Water. Combine dry ingredients. Blend in fat or margarine. Add egg and molasses. Mix thoroughly. Add enough water to form a dough ball. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut into cookies. Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine 1 C hot Broth, 1 envelope Dry Milk, 2 tsp Bouillon. Add the following: 3/4 C Oil, 2 Eggs, 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar, 5 C Whole Wheat Flour. Stir to form very stiff dough. Roll out and cut into shapes. Cover cookie sheet with foil and place cookies on it. Bake for 40 minutes, turning cookies over after 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix well, 1/2 C Corn Meal, 6 Tbsp Oil, 2/3 C Water or Meat Broth, 2 C Whole Wheat Flour. Roll out to 1/4" thick. Cut into shapes. Baste with meat drippings and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Garlic Biscuits

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix 2 1/2 C Flour (either Whole Wheat or White), 1/2 C non-fat Dry Powdered Milk Dry Milk, 1 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Salt, 6 Tbsp Butter or Margarine, 1 Egg, 3 Tbsp Garlic Powder, 3 Tbsp Dried Beef or Chicken Bullion Powder (can substitute Liver Powder) with 1/2 C cold Water. Knead for 3 minutes. Form dough into ball. Roll into 1/2" thick and cut into shapes. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Pour 1/2 C melted butter or margarine into 13 X 9" baking pan. Stir in 1/2 C Kraft grated American Cheese Powder, 1/3 C Bacon Bits, 2 Tbsp dry Gravy Mix. Add 2 C Cheerios, 2 C spoon-size Shredded Wheat, 2 C Crispix and stir well until all pieces are coated. Heat for 45 minutes. Add 1 C cut up doggie treats (jerky, pupperone, snausage) and store in airtight container. Freezes well.
Just Rewards Dog Cookies

Cheesy Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix 1 C Wheat Flour, 1/4 C Cornmeal, 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder, 1/3 C Water, 3 Tbsp Oil. Dust board with cornmeal, roll dough to 1/4"-1/2" thick, cut into desired shapes and bake 35-45 minutes or until cookies harden. Cool overnight before bagging. These freeze well. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix 2 C unsifted all-purpose Flour, 1 1/4 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1 Clove Garlic (finely chopped), 1/2 C Oil, 4 Tbsp Water. Knead well, adding water as needed to form stiff dough. Roll out on floured surface to 1/2" thick, cut into shapes and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until bottom of cookies are lightly browned.
