When someone suggested I have a bronze portrait made of my beloved English Shepherd, Katie, before she passed away I hesitated only a short period of time before contacting James Gion. Not one to do things half-way, I contracted for portraits of my Welsh Springer Spaniel, Andy, and for Midnite, one of my Greyhounds as well. The year after that, Jim did bronze sculptures of Toby (another Greyhound) and Ashley (All American) and a year after that Brenden and Chance (my Shelties) as well. In 2009 Jim traveled to California and did Jess (another Sheltie) and Will (my Whippet).
Now that six of my beloved dogs have passed away, these life size sculptures are even more dear to me. The results can be seen below. Thank you Jim.
